affordable eyeglasses

January 23rd, 2010

Every Friday, my kid and I go out to eat and walk for hours inside the mall checking out shops. I totally enjoy this time with my kid and I can safely say that she enjoys it too. But have you tried going out with just enough cash for lunch and nothing else? We did that yesterday. I had to buy prescription eyeglasses for my son last week who has been complaining of blurred visions for many weeks. I accompanied him to an eye doctor and the verdict was Astigmatism. So we had glasses made and he got it last Thursday. I must have spent around $150 for the whole thing. Anyway, I should have gotten his pair at Zenni’s. I don’t even know why I never thought of it in the first place. The doctor that we went to had a whole set of eyeglasses to choose from that it felt like we had to buy from him. I should have said no. I should have done what Eric Hammer did. In his article, he tells us that he has been going to Zenni for the past eight years. Yes, he goes to his optometrist but he directly goes to Zenni to have his pair made. That’s what I should do.  Anyway, there’s still a next time.

cheap eyeglasses

December 18th, 2009

I was looking for a great pair of shades for our trip to Boracay this Christmas when I came across an article by Eric Hammer mentioning about cheap eyeglasses from Zenni Optical. Well, I’m not yet in the market for a pair of reading glasses but it might come in handy in the future as my eyesight is not the same as when I was younger. So I visited the site and I particularly like the line of holiday eyeglasses they are offering. For as low as $10, you’d get a decent pair of eyeglasses.  Isn’t that great especially now that everyone is on a tight budget.  They are high quality and yet they’re also very affordable.  Nothing can beat that.

holiday fun glasses

We’re almost halfway through November and I haven’t begun with my Christmas list. I said I would start making it last October but things got crazy in the homefront. And it’s just less than a month before the Christmas month. Have you started on your Christmas list? I guess I would have to do shopping for Christmas gifts online. At least half of it. Good thing I came across Zenni’s New Arrivals and I thought those would be great gifts. So that is one less problem for me. By the way, most of the items are less than $20 so they would not make a huge dent on my wallet. If you want more affordable glasses also, you might want to check out Holiday Fun Eyeglasses whose prices start for as low as $9 or $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses.

always reading

February 8th, 2009

My son has never been absent in school.  I admire him and I thank God that he never took after me who was a frequent absentee during my highschool and college days.  I just worry about him a lot especially when I always see him reading books as thick as the encyclopedias of my time.  He sometimes complains of headaches and blurry vision.  And I won’t be surprised if one day he might be needing eyeglasses.

Good thing there are still Prescription eyeglasses for only $8! Zenni Optical lets you choose from a wide array of eyeglasses (like the one above) that are both fashionable and relatively cheap but high-quality.  It’s like Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank .

And did you know that they have been featured recently in New York Times?   Zenni Optical in the New York Times?! That’s huge.  And it means only one thing.  It’s a brand you can rely on.
