Resorts Rescued Timeshares Rescued

I love to go on vacation.  If I could do it weekly, I would.  My family even has  membership at a resort hotel somewhere in the north.  And we often go there when time permits.  We would just stay inside the villa, sleep and eat and come morning, the kids go swimming.  That’s usually our routine when on vacation.  Just chill and have a good time.  There’s no point in taking a vacation if you’d just stress yourself.

But there are just some things that have to be prioritized and sometimes, vacation or having a break takes a back seat.  If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably bought one of those vacation timeshares.  Timeshares save you a lot of money but sometimes you get so busy with work and end up not using them.  Well, there’s Resorts Rescued who can help you with that. They can get your timeshare sold, rented or traded so you won’t end up just paying maintenance fees, taxes and assessments even if you don’t get to use them.  You can even earn in the process.

long vacation starts now

October 27th, 2009

So it’s officially vacation for my two kids.  What does it mean?  I could rest.  I don’t have to wake up early.  I could sleep late which I love to do from time to time.  I could catch up on my reading.  I have plenty of books gathering dust and the dust might not come off that easily if I let those books be for another week or two.  Anyway, are you going away this weekend?  We are but we’re not going anywhere far.  Haven’t you heard?  There’s another tropical depression heading our way.  What else is new?  It always rains on weekends and holidays.

vacation plans

June 23rd, 2009

I was just talking about going on a vacation with a friend a few hours ago and I really think that it’s about time. And my chosen hotel is Sofitel Philippine Plaza. I have stayed there before when MG was just two years old. Three years ago to be exact. Instead of throwing a birthday party for her, we opted to celebrate it with just the family. The rate that time was around $250. We got the executive suite and the room came with buffet breakfast for two. It was a bit expensive but we truly enjoyed it because that was also the year the hotel launched its biggest buffet. Of course, we didn’t pass that one up. And yes, it was truly the biggest and longest buffet offering all types of cuisine. I couldn’t even stand after sampling almost all the dishes on the buffet table. Another good thing about our stay there was the swimming pool. It was the first time my daughter really enjoyed the water. It was truly an experience worth remembering. And I plan to do all over again this year.  Good thing the Accor group is offering discounts on hotel rooms, you might also want to take advantage of Accor Hotels City Super Sale. They are offering up to 60% discounts on hotel rooms across the Asia Pacific but on a limited time only. So book online between 23 - 29 June for stays between July 10 and September 30, 2009. Don’t miss this chance.

weekender: feast or famine

June 5th, 2009

So, I’m a work-at-home single mom in case you aren’t up to speed.

Last month, I logged about 150 hours of work (blogging).  This is so enough to live on but it didn’t make for a pretty and lovely month of doing whatever the heck I wanted.  Yes, we were able to go out of town but I had my laptop the whole time.

This month, it’s only the fifth day, Friday.  So far this week, I have logged about 25 hours already.  I don’t know if this should set the tone for the rest of month.  I’m not complaining or anything.  Work must happen, somehow.  I just wish i could go on a week without worrying about money coming in.  If I only have that luxury.  I hope I don’t lose my mind.  I also hope that my ass doesn’t get stuck to the chair.  I mean, this is an antique chair dating back to the Spanish period.
