We’re in Tagaytay now and I’m taking advantage of the free wi-fi in the lobby of this new hotel, Summit Ridge. We haven’t checked in. We can only check in after lunch since no room is available yet. The hotel is fully booked perhaps due to the November promo. The room rate is 50% off the whole month. By the way, I’m coming back here next week to take advantage of the promo and the long weekend. Good thing there was one last room available when I inquired awhile ago. I guess it was really meant for me.
Till next post…I will tell you all bout our experience sleeping in our ancestral house in Batangas. It was terrible. =(

Have you noticed that it always rains on a long weekend? This prevented us from going out of town two long weekends last month. But we managed to pull it off yesterday by going to my sister’s house in Laguna. Of course, it doesn’t count but we were still out of town. Anyway, we just drove around town stopping by Tagaytay and Batangas and revisiting my home town after almost 7 or 8 years. Nothing has changed. Taal Church is still old. Around 400 years old. Our house there seemed older, too. It looked as if it’s about to break and it’s just waiting for a very strong storm to do the job. I hope my dad and uncle would do something about it. It has been with the family for 150 years old already. Too much history for it just to go to waste.
