self-admitted klutz, wicked at times, suffering from multiple irony, but trying to be the best mom and sexiest human being her two children have ever known
My son is in his third year in College and this semester is kind of hard for him as some of his subjects require the students to submit endless research essay writing and projects on various sciences. Those are two things my son is having a hard time doing. Studying his science subjects has taken a toll on his health. He’s sleeping late, not eating on time and generally not doing anything at all except studying which is not advisable if you want to be an all around human being. I told him to write his essays and reports and let someone else do the essay editing. He could just write the general topics and a brief description and let a students essay editing service finish the work for him. At least, his reports and essays would be beautifully written and packed with information he himself supplied. Anyway, some of his classmates are already doing it so why can’t he? Well, my ever so dutiful son who likes to do everything himself, can’t accept that another human being would do anything for him. But he’s slowly coming around and checking out Custom-Essay.org. According to him, the service includes unlimited revisions. I’m quite sure there would be few since Custom-Essay.org is known for producing quality writing.
School ends this week for my son who is in college. Christmas vacation officially starts this weekend for him. But one of his teachers decided at the last minute to give the class something to do on vacation. It’s a last minute assignment and project. Of course, my kid panicked at first as he was so bent on doing nothing while on vacation. That’s why you call it vacation, right? He has to compile home and family articles. When I heard about it, I told him not to worry because I know a site that is full of such articles. He finally relaxed and slept after hearing it.
My nephew needs help in Math. He likes to study and excels in most subjects but he particularly hates Math and solving Math word problems. No matter how hard I try to do the equations for him, he just doesn’t get it. When I taught him Algebra word problems, the more he got confused. You see, he lives with me right now as his mother is busy working and has no time to tutor him. I plan to talk to my sister and discuss the possiblity of some form of Math help or Algebra help. I heard about TutorVista.com and how the program uses professional tutors to teach kids one-on-one. It’s basically done via the internet but in a secure web environment, much like what we’re doing in real life tutoring. There’s a white board on the computer screen that the tutor uses to demonstrate each problem to the student. For a low fee, you get unlimited online tutoring unlike with a tutor that goes to your home and is on a per hour basis, Tutor Vista offers all access to its pool of professional tutors who are experts in Math and Math problems, Science and English. That way, my nephew can get Math answers and learn how to arrive at those answers. And I can have more time with my little girl.
Paying the tuition fee is just around the corner for my son in College. My son hates carrying cash around. But he can’t help it and he has no choice. He has no credit card of his own and I don’t want to give him any. That’s why I plan to get him a Prepaid Credit Card so it would be safer and much more convenient for him than having a huge amount of money on him. And the card is accepted in most stores and outlets nationwide offline and online. Reloading is not a problem for there are more than enough card reload locations available. And he could start saving his allowance because it acts as a bank account as well. I know he would be pleased once I get him one.
In two years time, my son would graduate from College. He’s enrolled in a Science course in one of the most prestigious universities here in the Philippines. I’ve never done my thesis for the very reason that I never got to finish College. I only went as far as the second year. But everyone always assumes that I went all the way, even my closest friends. They even urged me one time to get a master’s degree in special education because if you’re a reader of this blog you would have known by now that I have a kid who has autism. Anyway, I always try not to comment on those conversations. I’m a big believer of the saying “less talk, less mistakes.”
But I guess I can’t get away from thesis writing especially now that it’s my son’s turn. With his busy schedule and internship in less than two years, I don’t know how he could manage to produce a thesis worthy of his dream profession. If his schedule would not permit it, I would suggest that he takes the services of the AplusA.org, one of the organizations that produces the best custom written paper online. But that’s a last ditch effort. I still would want my son to finish his thesis on his own, of course.
My niece is studying Culinary Arts in some school at the Fort. The course would only last 8 months and after which, she graduates and can now be called a legitimate chef. I don’t know what she plans to do after school, if she intends to work at a restaurant or hotel or put up a restaurant of her own. Then she would need restaurant supply for that.
One more year and my nephew graduates from high school. He’s bent on taking Design Arts. It’s like a Fine Arts course that majors in Graphic design, advertising and related subjects. But his parents would like him to take up a computer course in college. Knowing my nephew, I don’t think he can handle it. First of all, he’s not good in Math or Science. Never been and never will be. I have talked to my brother about it and explained to him that he cannot and would not handle it. An IT professional even needs to get CCNA Certification and that’s just the first step.Anyway, if he decides to enter Information Technology, he’d better do some self study to get that certification. And I heard that QuickCert offers this type of self-study program that prepares IT professionals secure certifications.
Are you sometimes overwhelmed by the sheer number of activities once school starts? I am and just thinking about the number of years that my little girl still has for school, I get exhausted already. Why? Because it would mean more hours on tutoring, project making, reviewing for exams and so much more. It would have been easy if those were the only things I do. I need help. I think I would have to get a tutor for MG when next school year begins. One that would help her establish good Study skills and habits needed to be a better student.
