Today, the number must-have accessory is the sunglasses. The wrong pair of sunglasses can actually make or break your whole outfit. So it’s not enough for a woman to only have one good pair, she has to have several that would match any occasion and and her wardrobe. Sunglasses are like bags and shoes. You can never have enough. What I have right now and one that I always use is my Chanel sunglasses. It was a splurge for me but after putting it to good use many times over, I think it’s one of the best buys I’ve done in years. But I’m also thinking of getting myself an Oakley pair. I’m trying to get fit once again and I plan to join a marathon next year. And my ever reliable Gucci nor my aviators won’t do the job of protecting me from the rays of the sun and the sweat that comes with running in the outdoors. I might just get an ordinary pair with UV protection. I don’t know. But I’m still saving up for that next big sunglasses purchase. Like I told you, it should match the outfit. And my big Gucci shades does not match the marathon-like outfit I have in mind. By the way, I browsed through Shopwiki the other day. Did you know that Oakley products are never put on sale? A friend of mine is disappointed with her home insurance. Because of the recent storm and the damages it caused her house, she tried to claim for the damages but the insurance company said that they don’t cover damages caused by Acts of God. So she’s disappointed until now. Because of that, she reviewed her health insurance and what she read surprised her, too. The policy does not cover dental and vision which she thought was part of her comprehensive insurance. Now she’s looking into Tennessee Health Insurance and trying to see which insurance company can cover everything including dental and vision. These days you have to get your money’s worth and you have to read through the fine print very carefully.

I noticed that my ceiling has some kind of stain. It was nothing serious two weeks ago but when I checked yesterday, the stain got bigger. I suspect termites with wings might have something to do with it. Or it could be water from the upstairs unit. I’m not really sure. If it’s termite problem, then I don’t have to worry because there are solutions to it. But if it’s the upstairs condo unit, then I have to talk to my neighbor about it which is an even bigger problem because he’s always out.

I think I want a vacation. What about caribbean holidays in cuba? Who wouldn’t want that? That’s what I call “the perfect vacation.” Cuba is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Why do you think Ernest Hemingway spent many years of his life here? It has a rich culture, great architecture, interesting people and most of all, there’s the sea. I love the waters and I would choose to spend the rest of my life near the sea. I love the laid back lifestyle of this country. I’m fascinated by the way it seems to be trapped in a bygone era.
So when you ask me if I want one of those

I would answer yes without batting an eyelash.
If I could stay there forever, it’s even better. I would learn to speak Spanish with a Cuban accent. I would listen to Cuban songs and even dance to their upbeat tunes. I would practice smoking the Cuban cigar which is the best in the world. I think I would be at home there. When can I go? I hope it would happen this year. Again, who wouldn’t want one of those caribbean holidays in cuba?

It’s another long vacation and because I never plan way ahead, all the hotels I called for a reservation were fully booked. I wish we could get away this weekend. But after hearing about another storm hitting us this weekend, I was kinda thankful that we’d get to stay home. But we just might go to my sister’s house tomorrow and probably spend the night there.
