The day of my first child’s birth was a brilliantly sunny day. Everybody was out to work or school and everybody left in the house was bustling about with their own business. I was at home when I felt it. And I thought to myself, “What was I doing here?” I wasn’t the kind of person you would hand a baby to. But there I was, ready to pop.
My first pregnancy was not a pleasant one. I was young and definitely inexperienced. I was not cut out for parenthood but an accident happened and you know the rest of the predictable scenario of teenage pregnancy. Besides, pregnancy almost always ruin your figure and your looks. I was so concerned about my body and how I looked. But the worse part about getting pregnant was I could not do anything about it. I can’t exercise and lose weight. MG is attending her school’s annual playhouse and it aims to mold children’s character, build cooperation and develop sportsmanship and leadership skills. They would start early and their lined up activities are quite many and they look fun. I hope MG would enjoy herself tomorrow and not fight with anyone. Lately, she has been exhibiting hostile attitude towards her classmates and I don’t know where she sees or gets it. Probably from her classmates, too. I’m not so sure. Our family loves the beach so much. That’s why every summer, we head on to the beach and relax. This year, we went to Camayan beach in Subic for my birthday. Surprisingly, many families were there for an early dip, too. I guess summer came early this year. It’s so hot these days. I can’t walk to get to my car without an umbrella. The sun rays can really damage your skin. So expect to be toasted before summer even hits April. And say goodbye to those whitening lotions and face creams because with this heat, they won’t work even if you drink it. I’m telling you. Just invest on a good sunscreen and drink lots of water to keep you hydrated.
By the way, look how sexy MG was in her two-piece swimsuit. She was with two of her favorite plump cousins. They looked after her while I was hiding from the sun in our rented hut.

The animal show in Zoobic Safari was truly entertaining. I especially like the ducks which we only saw in seconds as they ran towards the nearest exits. It was kinda funny. There were also the miniature donkeys and a trained monkey who put on a show for us. It was even wearing a pair of shades and groovy outfit. And of course, who could forget the tiger who devoured two whole chickens in seconds. Here are some more photos from the show:

Finding love in the oddest places or circumstances is no longer uncommon. I have friends who found their partners in life in unbelievable circumstances and unexpected places.
